The W market is an amazing concept and has already a loyal group of patrons and tourists who meet regularly here!
It’s hard to describe accurately but imagine an area close to 2 tall Condo buildings but surrounded by typical Bangkok shop houses ad to this mix graffiti art and, obscure sculptures, seating for a lot of people and more than 50 outlets selling every type of food imaginable and you have the W Market. Sometimes Food Trucks also join adding to the variety!
It is simple, relaxed and very cool attracting a vast range of people every evening who choose to come hear to eat, drink, meet friends and chill. Seating is simple and you should get there open to grab a table. There are 2 bars that will supply you with any drinks that you require though beer towers seem to be the most popular. There is also a small wine bar with a growing selection of wine.
Once you have secured your table and got your drinks, its time to decide what to eat. The choice is vast including traditional Thai, seafood, pizza, hamburger, steaks, Italian, French, kebabs, European, Vietnamese and much more. Place your orders with the various stalls at they will give you a sign to place on your table, once your food is cooked, it will be delivered to your table. So everyone in your party can eat what they want.
Prices are reasonable. Leo beer is available from THB 100 (ice costs extra) and most of the dishes served are under THB 200.
W Market is open daily from 16:00 to 24:00. It’s an open air food court and whilst they do their best to cover the tables when it does rain, it is not ideal if it is raining heavily.
